Description

ESPO has identified a requirement amongst its customers for a range of Security Services, which will be commissioned on an ad-hoc basis as the requirements arise. These include Key holder and first response services, Manned guarding and Mobile patrols. For the purposes of this contract ESPO's operational area will be divided into 8 separate Contract Regions (Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Warwickshire, Peterborough and Norfolk). Tenderers will be permitted to bid for individual services (Keyholding and/or Guarding) within individual regions or any multiple thereof. In addition, Tenderers should note that although some of these areas may already have specific security contracts (for example Leicestershire County Council and Cambridgeshire County Council), this framework will be available for use by other public bodies within those areas. The framework will be in place for an initial two year period, commencing 1st April 2010 (unless otherwise agreed). ESPO reserves the right thereafter to extend the contract for up to a further two year period, if it so wishes.
